Head of Finance

The Head of Finance is responsible for managing the finance functions of the TFO group, working very closely with the CEO and the Executive Management to execute the financial strategy, budgeting and provide financial input to the overall management of the firm.
Responsibilities
Integrity of the financial process and oversight of the accounts, MIS reporting, risk reporting and internal controls.
Any other ad hoc work which may be given by the CEO and senior management.
Control of the firm’s own proprietary investment including yearly impairment testing.
Cooperating with the internal audit plans and addressing the issues raised by internal
audit timely.
Coordinate with HR to ensure that the payroll process and funding works smoothly for the company and the subsidiaries.
Development and updating of finance policies which reflect internal controls, risk and compliance to protect the company.
Development of management reporting including financial KPI for the Board, EC, ORC and Management.
Ensuring cash management strategies are in place which includes preparation of cash flow forecasts and tracking of bank balances to always ensure sufficiency of cash.
Ensuring regulatory compliance with respect to external financial reporting for CBB an other regulators for the subsidiaries including capital adequacy to be maintained at all times.
Handling ERP automation in Dynamics 365 to bring in greater efficiencies.
Handling the share incentive plan (SIS) relationship in the firm and with the administrator
KPMG.
Internal process improvement: Define and implement internal process improvements and ensuring the adequacy of internal controls.
Keeping a track on the firm’s receivables and short-term capital funding in line with the firm’s policy.
Liaison with the banks for the banking relationship, payment authority matrix, banking confirmations and KYC and other requirements from the banks.
Maintaining relationship with the statutory auditors for the Group and the subsidiaries annual audit process and QPR returns validation.
Maintaining the treasury functions oversight-deployment of the firm’s surplus cash, ensuring that all banking arrangements and fund transfer process are adequately managed and controlled, and cash flow is managed.
Represent finance through participation on Management Committees in the firm.
Responsible for preparing and execution of business strategy, budgeting, and forecasting.
Responsible for the integrity of the entire financial process, including the accuracy of the external and internal financial statements.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in financial accounting and management regulatory reporting of which preferably in a financial institution/asset management/investment banking/Big 4 Audit firm
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and a professional accounting qualification like ACCA/CMA/CPA or equivalent
Skills & Competencies required:
Excellent communication skills
Fluent in English
Good team worker
Interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills and knowledge of financial systems
Working knowledge and experience in the implementation of systems applications products and enterprise resource planning (ERP).
