Young Professional Program – Compliance Analyst
About the Role
The Young Professional Compliance Analyst will support the Compliance function in ensuring the organization adheres to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices. This role is designed for recent graduates and early-career professionals seeking hands-on exposure to compliance, regulatory frameworks, risk management, and financial services operations.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Compliance team to assist in monitoring regulatory obligations, conducting compliance reviews, maintaining compliance records, and supporting awareness initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in monitoring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Support the review and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
Conduct preliminary compliance checks and reviews of client onboarding documentation.
Assist with Know Your Customer (KYC), Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes.
Maintain compliance records, registers, and documentation in an accurate and organized manner.
Support regulatory reporting and periodic compliance submissions.
Monitor regulatory updates and communicate relevant changes to the Compliance team.
Assist in investigating compliance-related issues and documenting findings.
Participate in internal audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments.
Prepare reports, presentations, and compliance dashboards for management.
Support employee awareness programs and compliance training initiatives.
Collaborate with other departments to promote a strong culture of compliance and ethical conduct.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field.
Recent graduate or up to 2 years of professional experience.
Strong interest in compliance, governance, risk management, and regulatory frameworks.
Knowledge of AML, KYC, and financial services regulations is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
